Launchpads Ages 3-12

Launchpads are pre-loaded tablets for children from preschool age through sixth grade. They are easy to use, and do not require wifi or the internet, so they are 100% secure and accessible for everyone. Launchpads are populated with carefully chosen content including educational apps, games, videos, stories, and activities for hours of learning fun. There are many topics to choose from, so explore them all!

Early Literacy Ages 0-5

Noyes Library

Noyes Library for Young Children Ages 0-8

A library dedicated to children birth to 3rd grade. This is a busy place with children playing with the train table, blocks and baby dolls. Early Literacy programming currently takes place every day the library is open.

Discovery Rooms Ages 0-8

Come alone or make a play date with a friend. MCPL’s discovery rooms have everything you need to have fun and encourage learning through play. The Discovery Rooms are designed for children from newborns to 8 years old and for their adult caregivers.

NOTE: You can reserve a room at Gaithersburg, Germantown, Marilyn J. Praisner, or Quince Orchard libraries. Please review MCPL's Discovery Room policies.
